Saira Salahuddin - President
Graduated from the London School of Economics with a BSc Accounting and Finance. Saira is a Chartered Accountant, currently works as a Finance Manager for a FTSE 50 company. She is a proud PVS parent, with three children attending the school. Saira has been dedicated board member since 2018 and has lead multiple initiatives to benefit the school community and is also the school’s first female Board President.

Abdul Haseeb - Vice President
Abdul Haseeb studied Engineering from Purdue University, USA and also holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from University of Toronto, Canada. Abdul Haseeb works for a global SecurityTech company where he is driven by the passion of getting IoT solutions into the hands and lives of billions of people. He has also served as part of the teaching faculty at Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada in both the Engineering and Business schools. He and his wife have all their three children at PVS. He joined the board in 2021 and continues to leverage his education and experience to contribute to our community through PVS.

Yasmen Knefati - Secretary
A dedicated member of the PVS community and a long-time resident of Memphis. As a proud parent of four children attending PVS, Yasmen has been actively involved with the school since 2018. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration from the University of Memphis. In 2022, she took the initiative to reestablish the PTO and served as its president for two consecutive years. Under her leadership, the PTO successfully organized numerous events that enriched the school’s culture and strengthened engagement among students, parents, and teachers.

Halirou’s Osse - Treasurer
Father of four including a PVS alum and two current students, Halirou brings extensive experience in finance and accounting as well as data & analytics to PVS Board. He is currently a Sr Manager - Finance Data Governance and Analytics at Eaton Corp. He previously worked at FedEx, Carrier Corporation and HSBC. Halirou is also one of the founding board members of the Memphis Islamic Center and volunteers at other local mosques and community organizations. Halirou holds an MBA from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.

Faseeh Hadidi Member - Governance Lead
Graduated from Damascus University School of Medicine, and completed Neurology Training at Wayne State University in Detroit. He has served as the director of the inpatient rehab unit of Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center for five years, during which he was on the physician leadership committee for two years. Currently runs a private practice in Mississippi.
He is a father of seven and moved his family to in 2016 in order to enroll his children at PVS. He has 1 child currently enrolled in PVS and 3 alumni. During his tenure on the Board he has helped with the recruitment of several leadership and administration positions a currently serving as the Governance lead.

Fazal Yahya Member - Fundraising Lead
After completing his internal medicine residency at UTHSC Memphis in 2015, Fazal has been practicing as a hospitalist at Baptist Memorial Hospital, where he also serves as Chief of Medical Staff. As a proud parent of four children, three of whom are currently enrolled at Pleasant View School, he is committed to supporting the school’s mission and growth. His passion for education and community engagement drives his service on the Pleasant View School Board.

Attiya Haque Member - Communication Lead
Graduated with a degree of Bachelors in Medicine & Surgery from Rawalpindi Medical College, Pakistan and later went on to complete Masters in Public Health from SUNY Downstate University, Brooklyn. Has worked as a Manager in medical practice and taught Science at Al-Huda an Islamic School in Worcester, Massachusetts in 2012-13 . She has volunteered as the school nurse since her daughter joined PVS in 2021-22. She has assisted in shaping the EMRT (Emergency Medical Response Team) and has volunteered as the room mom for her daughter’s grades.
